What is the difference between AE (Aeronautical Engineer) and AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer)?

Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering course is a 4years degree course. And aeronautical engineers are responsible for designing, maintaining, and innovation of the aircraft industry.

And the other side Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is the 3yerars engineering course, and after completion of AME course candidates got a license by DGCA, (a government authority).

AME engineers are responsible for the maintenance of aircraft or aeroplanes to makes flights are on the schedule always.

AME Course Details:-

AME or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course recognized by DGCA (Directorate General in Civil Aviation). The AME license holders are maintaining the safety and security of the plane.

They are responsible for all mechanical, avionics, and instrumental parts such as engines, landing gear, fuselage, radar systems, navigation systems, etc. and confirm they are working correctly.
